During the season, four groups of children have been training at the Community Centre (U13, U11, U10 & U9), and competing against other teams in the Mid and North Wales Junior Football League (http://www.freewebs.com/midnorthjfl/). The U9 team had a very successful season, being unbeaten and winning all but one game in their league. They also won the cup final and thus completed a season double. The U10 team were one of 4 strong teams in their year group and eventually finished joint winners of the league. The under 11 team had a frustrating season and finished sixth in their league. One more win would have elevated them to fourth. However, they rounded the year off by winning the Consolation cup. The U13 team played in the largest and most open year group of the league, with five teams having a chance of winning the league only one month from the end. Things did not go their way and they eventually finished fifth in the league. However, they did win the cup to pick up their second trophy in four years of competition. All in all, a very successful year, with all age groups picking up trophies.

For next season we plan to enter five teams into the league, U14, U12, U11, U10 and U9. The U14 team are struggling for player's as a couple of this year’s team will not be playing next year, and so if there are any budding 12 or 13 year olds who would like a game then please let us know.
